Using review videos: features that make them effective

Students' mastery of prerequisite knowledge is crucial to their success in higher-level courses. To help students prepare for a 400 level mechanical engineering course, a series of knowledge review videos were created and assigned to students. Students were assessed and surveyed after each review video assignment. This presentation intends to share with participants what worked, what didn't, what adjustments were made, and how the review videos helped prepare students for a higher-level class.
